Data collection 

To become a customer at the Farmaoli online store, you must register by filling in the form available on the respective website, at www.farmaoli.pt.

Personal data is collected at the time of customer registration or at the time of purchase. The following data is collected: name, email, date of birth, address, tax number, telephone number, preferences for using products and services, and purchase or transaction history. If the payment method is bank transfer, the following data will be collected: IBAN and name of the bank account holder.

Providing the data requested when registering on the Farmaoli website is mandatory for the customer to be able to use/purchase the services and products available.

Data may also be collected through a social media platform under the responsibility of Farmaoli, during an interaction with a publication or through a private message, for purposes related to Farmaoli's marketing activities.

Collection may also occur through communications made to Farmaoli's official email addresses.

Personal data may be collected after acceptance of the privacy terms when filling in forms made available at events organized or sponsored by Farmaoli.

Electronic identification data may also be collected, which may include IP address, cookies or similar technologies, activity records.

The customer may update the information provided by him/her, whenever he/she wishes and with complete autonomy, in the “My Account” area after logging in, by entering his/her username and password.

In order for you to subscribe to the Farmaoli Newsletter, the following data is collected: name and email.

Use and purposes of the processing of the data subject's data

Farmaoli uses the data subject's data for various purposes, such as: compliance with obligations arising from the law; management of the commercial relationship; supply of purchased products; provision of contracted services; communication and information actions, to publicize campaigns, promotions, advertising and news about products and/or services, marketing; analysis within the scope of carrying out market studies; creation of consumer profiles; customer segmentation; improvement and personalization of the shopping experience; control and quality assurance of our products and services; management of complaints and issues related to our products and services; other purposes described when requesting your informed consent.

Subcontracted entities - communication of data to other entities

In the context of processing the data subject's data, Farmaoli uses or may use third parties, subcontracted by it, to, on Farmaoli's behalf, and in accordance with the instructions given by it, process the data subject's data, in strict compliance with the provisions of the law and this Privacy Policy.

Farmaoli undertakes to only subcontract entities that provide sufficient guarantees of implementing the appropriate technical and organizational measures, in order to ensure the protection of the data subject's rights. 

As part of Farmaoli's normal operation, the data subject's data collected by Farmaoli may be shared with the following entities:

- Carriers responsible for delivering orders

- Entities responsible for the payment processing service selected by the customer

In any of the above-mentioned situations, Farmaoli will take all appropriate measures to ensure the effective protection of personal data.

Rights of personal data holders 

Under applicable law, the User may request, at any time, access to personal data concerning him/her, as well as its rectification, deletion or right to "be forgotten", limitation of its processing, portability of his/her data, or object to its processing. Under the law, the User is also guaranteed the right, through the aforementioned means, to withdraw his/her consent for the processing of data for the purposes indicated. Retention of personal data

The period of time during which data is stored and retained varies according to the purpose for which the information is processed. However, there are legal requirements that require data to be retained for a minimum period of time. Therefore, and whenever there is no specific legal requirement, the data will be stored and retained only for the period necessary for the purposes that motivated its collection or subsequent processing, after which it will be deleted, except if the right to object, the right to erasure or the withdrawal of consent is exercised, within the legal limits.

Procedures for the exercise of rights by the data subject

- Allow us to improve the performance and browsing experience of its users, increasing, on the one hand, the speed and efficiency of response and, on the other, eliminating the need to repeatedly enter the same information;

Personal data breach

In the event of a data breach and to the extent that such breach is likely to entail a high risk to the rights and freedoms of the data subject, Farmaoli undertakes to communicate the personal data breach to the National Data Protection Commission - CNPD - within 72 hours of becoming aware of the incident.

Under legal terms, communication to the data subject is not required in the following cases:

- If Farmaoli has implemented appropriate protection measures, both technical and organizational, and these measures have been applied to the personal data affected by the personal data breach, in particular measures that make the personal data incomprehensible to any person not authorized to access such data, such as encryption;

- If Farmaoli has taken subsequent measures that ensure that the high risk to the rights and freedoms of the data subject is no longer likely to materialize; 

- If communication to the data subject involves a disproportionate effort for Farmaoli. In this case, Farmaoli will make a public communication or take a similar measure through which the data subject will be informed.
